Honey French Chicken

To go with the Honey Mustard Coleslaw, the Blueberry Brie Cornbread Biscuits with Honey Butter, and other deliciousness I’ve whipped up in the last week, I found this recipe for Honey French Chicken in the Pride of Iowa Cookbook.

Honey French Chicken

Honey French Chicken

1 cut up broiler-fryer chicken (I used chicken thighs)
1 tsp flavor enhancer
1/4 c oil
1/4 c honey
1/4 c cider vinegar
1/4 c chili sauce
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 envelope onion soup mix
1/4 tsp salt

Sprinkle chicken with flavor enhancer.  Mix together remaining ingredients.  Place chicken in a single layer in a shallow baking pan.  Pour the sauce over the chicken.  Bake, uncovered, in a 350-degree oven about 40 minutes or until fork can be inserted with ease.
